CED Question for Mr. Rutonresha
The killing of President Habyarimana and the president of Burundi seemed to be the "straw that broke the camels back."This was what finally rallied the Hutu, and led to mass killings. Had the president never been killed, do you think this genocide would have occurred anyway? Were the Hutu more or less looking for a reason to go into a civil war?
