HT Team #1 Advocacy Networks
For human trafficking, as a group, we need to research different advocacy networks for human trafficking. At the moment, it seems that human trafficking is more of a social movement where there are different special groups that concentrate on stopping it. However, there is not a large organization that many people know of that is trying to combat human trafficking. In addition, it is important to look at the government's involvement. What laws are there? Have these laws had any effect on stopping human trafficking? This would be a good tie in to what people can do to be more involved with human trafficking such as signing a petition for a change in a law.
