By advocating for the cause of supporting refugees or displaced peoples, our group agreed are associating ourselves in a transnational advocacy network, as theorized by the Keck and Sekkink article.  Their theory is simple, by joining several actors together (including NGOs in the center, with local social movements, foundations, the media, etc... extending its services), it is possible to make a difference through political lobbying and the mobilization of funds.  By raising awareness through our research, we are exchanging information between the several branches of the transnational advocacy group.
