The Barnett reading often speaks of Clinton's lack of public support for his foreign policy, especially after his lack of success in both Somalia and Haiti. Do you think that this was the sole reasoning for the US's lack of involvement in the genocide? Furthermore, do you think that had the US government stepped in during the Genocide, it would have lasted as long as it did and been as deadly as it was?
